Steven Visuri,
Prodesse CSO, to Speak at 2005 International Symposium on
Respiratory Viral Infections
WAUKESHA, WI (February 2, 2005) - Prodesse, Inc. announced today that its Chief
Science Officer, Steven Visuri, PhD, has accepted an invitation to speak at the
VII International Symposium on Respiratory Viral Infections. Dr. Visuri’s
presentation, "Real Time PCR Applications for Detection of Respiratory
Pathogens", will describe commercially available products and highlight
Prodesse’s multiplex ProFlu-1™ reagents. Prodesse’s ProFlu-1™,
Hexaplex® and
Hexaplex® Plus are the only commercially available reagents that
labs have used to develop assays for multiplex detection of respiratory viruses
from a
single sample. The Symposium is comprised of many leaders in the respiratory
virology field and is being held March 3-6 at the Curaçao Marriott Beach
Resort in the Netherlands Antilles. |
